Weird Tips to Lose Your Abdominal Fat

Home :: My Story

My Story

Hello. My name is Christian Finn.

Before you spend any more time looking around, I'd like to tell you more about myself. Then, you can decide if I'm able to help you.

What this site will do for you...

On this site, you'll discover proven, fast and easy-to-follow ways to burn fat and build muscle. Put these ideas to work and in a few short weeks you'll be leaner, stronger and fitter than you are today.

If you're stuck in a rut with your current exercise and diet plan... fed up with only losing a pound here and there... or still skinny after months (or even years) of trying to build muscle and gain weight, then I can help you get the results you're looking for.

So what makes this site different from all the rest?

I am VERY results oriented. If and when I give you advice, you can be sure I'll be speaking from experience. There's nothing I've ever written about, be it a food supplement, diet or exercise routine, that I haven't used myself.

I know what it's like to spend hours in the gym, waste a fortune on food supplements and see little or nothing in the way of results. I understand how it feels to want to quit the whole exercise and diet "thing" because nothing seems to be working. Because of this, you won’t hear me talking about unproven theories, exercise gimmicks or the latest fitness fads.

I don’t want to waste my time, and I won’t waste yours either.

I have zero interest in following trends, fashions or fads. It's easy to feel so overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice about exercise and nutrition that your brain feels like it's going to burst. Let's face it — the sheer volume of information is literally overwhelming. And many of the "experts" disagree.

Truth is, most of what passes for health and fitness "news" is nothing more than "noise." Much of it is either meaningless or plain stupid. Most of it is a complete waste of your time.

Newspaper headlines, magazine articles and TV babble about the latest diet, exercise gimmick or fitness fad isn't just useless. It's actually worse than useless, because it distracts you from the things that are really important and misleads people into thinking they know something.

This mass of confusing and conflicting information leaves many people so confused about what to do that they end up doing nothing.

My aim is simple...

To keep you informed about what really counts, I sift through the latest research and consumer reports on your behalf. I collect information, advice and facts from the world's top experts and research journals on the best ways to burn fat, build muscle and get fit. Then, I present it to you in a way that you can understand and act on.

I’ve got a solid background you can trust. As a certified personal trainer, I've spent more than a decade working with people of all shapes and sizes, as well as exercising regularly myself for over 15 years.

With a master's degree in exercise science, I've also worked as a "trainer to the trainers," lecturing at university as well as for private training organizations (including Premier Training, a company considered by many as the leading provider of training to exercise professionals in the United Kingdom) on fitness training, weight loss and the effective use of nutritional supplements.

If you live in the UK, you might have seen me in the BBC TV series Body Hits – the short (120 seconds) video clip below is an extract from the series, where I had just 4 weeks to whip London's worst hockey team into shape!

I also write extensively on the subject. You'll find my articles and views published in numerous magazines, leading industry journals and websites worldwide, including Men's Health, Men’s Fitness, Esquire, Fit Pro, CAM magazine, Image, the Journal of Sports Sciences, Zest, Body Life and the online journal Sport Science.

The growing number of visitors to this site (on average, I serve around 250,000 unique visitors — roughly 2 million hits — each month) appreciate the fact that I’m free from the influence of any supplement company or "secret" training and diet system.

After nearly 10 years online, I'm proud to remain completely independent. Instead, the site is funded entirely by private subscribers to the Members-Only Area, search results from Google, and affiliate payments from several high-quality e-books featured on the site.

It's evidence-based. Most of what passes for "fact" in the health and fitness industry is based on theory and speculation rather than any hard evidence.

As you probably know already, there are plenty of people running around trying to convince you that they have all the answers.

Well, let me be completely upfront. I don't have ALL the answers.

But I think you'll find the answers that I DO have will help you achieve what you want, whether it's a bigger bench press, a flatter stomach (maybe even "killer" six pack abs) or a few extra miles on the treadmill.

Why should you believe what I have to say?

My answer to you is that you SHOULDN'T.

In fact, I'd suggest that you approach my website in exactly the same way that I would if I was in your shoes — with a healthy skepticism and a "show me the proof" attitude.

That's why most of the articles I write have references at the bottom. This is a list of the research journals, books and other sources that I’ve used to help me put the article together.

Why do I do this? When I talk about the results of a particular study, you don't have to take my word for it. You can go and check it out for yourself.

One of the best places to get your hands on a goldmine of fat-burning secrets and natural muscle-building techniques that can save you years of wasted time and effort is in research journals. There's a mass of desirable information out there that few people get to read about in books or magazines.

I'm also a "detail guy." By the time reports of a study reach your favorite newspaper or magazine, important details about the way it was done are often left out or ignored. The devil, as the saying goes, is in the detail. I’ll do my best to explain exactly what happened in a particular study so you can decide for yourself what the results really mean.

I’ll be straight with you. I won't tell you that you can get in shape by eating as much food as you want, or exercising for just "8 minutes in the morning." And I won't promise a magic bullet — as it seems every book on nutrition and exercise seems to do these days — because there isn't one.

Magazines, books and exercise devices always seem to offer "too-good-to-be-true" results. In truth, they're promising what can't be delivered. And I'm not going to do that.

I can't help you do anything other than learn what to do. It's only when you apply the information that you'll get the results you want. And the truth is that a lot of people simply can't be bothered.

Getting in shape requires effort and self discipline. I can give you the "how." But you need to supply the desire. If you're the kind of person who wants someone else to do all the work, you might as well stop reading now.

If you're motivated and prepared to act on what you learn, I can help you get the results you're looking for. It won't happen overnight. But, if you stick with me, I'm confident you'll succeed.

To your success,

Christian Finn, M.Sc.
