You'll find my articles and tips published in numerous magazines, leading industry journals and websites worldwide, including Fit Pro, CAM magazine, Image and Body Life magazine. More recently, I've also contributed to Men's Health Muscle, Zest, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Health Club Management and Esquire.

Some magazines are very good sources of high-quality information on how to lose fat and build muscle. Unfortunately, most only contain one or two pieces of information you can actually use. The rest is just advertising, photographs, and useless gossip.

What's more, most magazines and websites rely heavily on advertising revenue from companies selling food supplements and various exercise devices. Because they float on advertising dollars, most popular magazines are reluctant to print anything that will discourage potential advertisers.

In many cases, they're owned by the same people trying to sell you the supplements. Their content is often little more than adverts disguised as articles designed to convey an impartial image.

Remember that one of the main goals of a newspaper or magazine is to sell more copies. They'll achieve this with a sensational headline that reads something like "vitamin C causes cancer" rather than one that accurately reflects the findings of a study.

This site is free from the influence of any supplement company or "miracle" training or diet system. We won't attempt to sell you the latest food supplement, abdominal training device, or fad diet. After more than seven years online, we're proud to remain completely independent.
